It is a cave of about 30 meters in a classic and particularly harsh lava “Sciara”, hence the name. The access is a bit low and narrow, to rise after a few meters, thus allowing you to walk more easily. The bottom also appears scoriaceous and without signs of any anthropic transformation. The channel has some interesting flow streaks. The cave is not very easy to reach, however an ancient mule track passes nearby that presumably started from the vineyards of Adrano in the Grotta del Santo area and reached Piano Fiera – Monte Intraleo. This track was also detected and reported by the author on Open Street Map. In the immediate vicinity is the Grotta del Presepe.
