This is a fracture cave developed by the eruption of the same name in 1610. The vertical shaft is about 7 meters deep and great care must be taken with the loose rock material on the walls. The floor of the cave is sandy due to presumed volcanic ash carried inside by the water. The cavity extends upstream for about twenty meters.
